Terra

How does the language of the individual fail us when we talk about climate change? What can bees, trees, slime moulds and arctic foxes teach us about responsibility and collaboration? Terra is a multimedia project consisting of an album, a theatre show and a podcast series; borne out of a frustration with anthropocentrism and the failing climate change narrative, the project explores our relationship to the natural world and our inability to slow its destruction by human activity.

Terra was presented as a work-in-progress sharing at the Fringe World festival in Perth, January 2020. Further development and production is planned for October/November 2020.

The album and podcast are currently in development.

Work and research from the show is shared by Jethro Cooke in his artist talk Other Bodies.
